White Lake
White Lake channels out to Lake Michigan and is approximately seven miles long and a mile and a half wide. Very few inland lakes offer the water sports that White Lake does. Sailing, power boating, skiing, windsurfing and more. Lets not forget the great fishing. Whitehall and Montague have quaint nautical shops, sporting good stores with more than fifteen restaurants, most within walking distance.
The largest White Lake is in Muskegon County, Michigan, formed by the White River. The city of Montague, is on the north side of the lake. The city of Whitehall, is on the south side of the lake. The unincorporated community of Wabaningo is situated where the lake flows through a short navigation channel into Lake Michigan at 43°22′31″N 86°25′36″W
