St. Joseph, Michigan
Nestled in Michigan's great southwest, St. Joseph sits on the banks of the St. Joseph River and overlooks Lake Michigan. Filled with unique shopping, quaint cafes, and beautiful views of the lake, the downtown region is known for its distinctive brick-paved roads and easy-going manner, and is home to such festivities as the Blossomtime Parade, Venetian Festival, and the Krasl Art Fair. St. Joseph is also home of Silver Beach County Park which has extensive play areas, a guarded swimming area on Lake Michigan, volleyball areas, pier fishing, a half-mile, barrier free walkway and a reservable picnic shelter.
